Castle Noz
Casper came to the United States from Holland as a young man, determined to live the American Dream. He began his career in construction in San Francisco, working on high-rise buildings while earning his contractor’s license.
After settling in the small town of Denair, Casper met Diane, and together they built a life with their three children: Stephanie, Andrea, and Joshua. They eventually purchased the land where the Castle now stands, originally intending to build a family home. Casper assured Diane the house would be completed in just a few years. More than 30 years later, the Castle has transformed into something far greater—a majestic venue born from Casper’s enduring passion for building.
In the late '90s, Casper’s love for hosting brought a new purpose to the Castle. When friends asked if their daughter could get married there, he decided to open the venue to others. Since then, the Castle has become a cherished space for celebrations of all kinds.
Every brick and beam of the Castle reflects Casper’s craftsmanship and dedication, making it a truly remarkable place for special moments.

Our Family
Casper and Diane met and fell in love. They have three children; Stephanie, Andrea, and Joshua. They have five wonderful grandchildren; Emma and Logan Huber, Eli Noz, Casper, Archer and Sawyer De Muro, and Morgan Newsom.
What we do?
We are an event venue for all occasions. While weddings are our most popular events, we’ve also hosted family reunions, birthday parties, school proms and field trips, photo shoots, tea parties, college events, Quinceañeras, tractor pulls, and much more.
How long has this been going on?
Casper began construction on the Castle in 1991, and started hosting events in the late '90s. Since then, we’ve expanded with features like bridal and groom suites, with more additions planned to enhance our offerings.
Where is the Castle?
Located just outside Denair in Snelling, our venue is nestled on 20 secluded acres, surrounded by orchards and farmland, offering unparalleled privacy and intimacy for every event.
How did Casper do all this?
Brick by brick, Casper has spent his life building. From rafts on Holland’s canals to his family’s home in Denair, to his decades long career as a contractor. Caspers dedication to craftsmanship and passion for creating work that lasts is apparent in every project he's undertaken, and most notably in the Castle.
